As modern life becomes more and more demanding many of us feel overwhelmed. The Freedom Bus is the antidote to the fear driven shopping-&-work-obsessed culture that shackles us and stifles our dreams.
The Freedom Bus is about capturing lost freedoms – since our school days we have been encouraged to believe that we are not free. Told to behave ourselves, do as we are told, remember our duties. We can become imprisoned by our jobs, bosses, bills and banks. Seduced by celebrity, adverts, credit and rules about how we should look, behave, shop and live. We get frightened by unseen distant threats … because we are told to be.
If we are not careful we become spectators of life. We watch people doing things instead of doing things ourselves – consider how many TV shows are dedicated to developing imaginative houses, changing lifestyles, entrepreneurship, playing music, singing and performing.
The Freedom Bus gently encourages you to do things. To think, to plan and to take action. This is no rah-rah hyped up “Go For It!” call for mega motivation – just a considered prod to remind you that any fears, “I have to…”s or “I can’t..”s are self made limits and that perhaps it’s time to stop and take stock.
Many Freedom Bus-ers are mid lifers (aged 35-55, who feel they have reached a stage where they wish to re-evaluate their life) yet all are welcome. Indeed the scope of the site is wide, from politics, economics, ecology and philosophy to downshifting, self-employment, debt, health and fun.
So climb aboard the Freedom Bus and take control of your life. Next stop, carefree happiness; freedom from anxiety, fear, bureaucracy, consumerism, debt and waste.
Loaf in comfort as the Freedom Bus trundles its merry way, gently provoking, inspiring and comforting you, its passengers.
Right now you are free – you are on the Freedom Bus and you haven’t paid your fare!
If you’d like some help taking the first steps to creating the life you really want then come on our Midlife Retreat in SW France - we’d love to see you there!

I hope that the destination is a Possible Good World (PGW): No wars; No poverty; No oppression; Mo exploitation; No avoidable suffering.
